For a few weeks now my laptop has been pretty darn stubborn. It loads-up slowly, struggles to open basic web-pages and I frequently get the strangest, naughtiest of pop-ups. I can’t begin to imagine where I picked up the virus, but not only is it beginning to affect my work, it’s beginning to affect my life!

On more than one occasion I’ve had to snap the lid down on it as it started blurting out something completely inappropriate in a coffee shop. I basically wound up staring at the floor as the red burn of embarrassment slowly faded. Eventually I left without ever looking up, fearful of the judgment that would greet me.

Finally I decided to approach my friend’s son Liam about the matter. I figured that at nineteen he was not only much more tech savvy, but he was also old enough to bear witness to the naughty adverts and videos that popped up every now and then.

“Just a second, Liam, honey,” I called, skipping down the driveway as I spotted him walking by one morning.

“Oh, hey, Mrs. Hanson. What is it?”

“I was wondering … can you take a look at my laptop later?

“Sure thing,” he shrugged.

“It’s just a little … slow.”

“No problem.”

“Wait,” I called as he went on his way. “It’s not your average kind of slow.”

Liam paused. “What kind of slow is it?”

“I think I have a virus or something. The whole thing is kind of screwy. I keep getting these … pop-ups.”

“Oh, that’s normal with some viruses,” Liam said.

“Really? Because they look kind of naughty.”

“Porn?” Liam asked plainly.

I cleared my throat and swallowed. “Uh-huh.”

“I’ll take a look when I get back later,” he said.

When he left I realized that he must have had more than a few run-ins with this kind of virus. In the past he’d fixed PC’s and laptops for many friends of his family. I started to wonder who else had been a victim.

After Liam had left I pulled out the laptop and tried to do some work. I’d stopped venturing out in public with the damned thing for fear of a life-time ban from the local coffee shop. I’d be steering clear of that place for a good few months whether my laptop got fixed or not.

I managed to get an hour or so of straight work out of the thing until a pop-up window emerged from nowhere.

“SEE MILFS TAKE IT IN THE ASS,” a sultry female voice announced from nowhere.

I sighed and quickly hit save on my work. On the screen was the moaning face of a mature woman, looking somewhere close to my age. From her expression it seemed like there were some interesting things happening to her, but for now I could only see her face and neck.

I closed the window and another one popped up in its place, reciting the same vulgar proposition. I stared into the face of that forty-something lady, wondering exactly what was going on down there that was causing her so much pleasure.
